We are pleased to announce that effective immediately Mustard Seed Project will begin to solicit and accept funds to help the Street Children of Kigali Rwanda.In the first phase of the new partnership, our goal will be to raise sufficient funds which will provide 3 meals per week for 85 children who are currently enrolled in Pastor Deo's Street Children's Ministry. The cost of one meal with a beverage is approximately three US dollars.
The meal cost also permits the children to have a shower. Another effort will be to provide health care insurance for all 85 children who are currently enrolled in Pastor Deo's Ministry. Health insurance will cover 80% of clinic and prescription charges for about $10.00 USD per year. Ten of the 85 children have tested positive for HIV Aids. Separately, we hope to raise enough money to pay for vocational training for 15 of the 85 children who have reached 15 years old or more. The cost of this training is approximately $700 USD per child. We are very excited about this new partnership and we welcome you to join with us in helping the Street Children of Rwanda.
